This book makes you open your eyes to a reality we don't all know. I work in the medical field and have a decent knowledge about chronic illnesses and autoimmune disorders. However, reading about a character suffering from one really opened my eyes to how much I don't know about living with one of these conditions.

Emery is such an inspiring character. Her strength and drive is inspiring. While Kaiden is a strong man who survives lifes challenges in a different way, with a different outlook than Emery. The way they help each other grow, heal, and live is amazing. They needed each other in ways no one could have anticipated.

This book is full of feels, but worth the read
