My Thoughts and Review:

This book took me through the paces. It is an amazing fake dating romance.

Giana is a heroine to admire. I truly loved how she set out to prove others wrong, and get outside her comfort zones. She was always true to herself. I wish that I could be more like her. Clay is almost the book boyfriend to beat all book boyfriends. He truly knows how to sweep a girl off her feet. I loved watching the two of them fall in love with each other before they even realized they were falling.

This book has so many incredible characters. I truly love the entire NBU football team and the relationship they have with each other. I can't wait to see what Holden's story has in store for the NBU team.

My Thoughts and Review:

Kandi Steiner opened up a whole new ball field for this football romance. This romance has so many elements from so many different tropes it is sure to please just about any romance reader. It is a sports romance, brother's best friend, forbidden, roommates to lovers, and enemies to lovers all rolled into one. Let me tell you this, it is a recipe for perfection.

Riley is such a strong woman. She fights to earn respect in a male dominated (maybe male only) field. While she plays it off as doing it for her brother who can't any more, she really truly loves the game.

Zeke is so incredibly hard on himself. He is sure he is good at one thing and one thing only in life....Football.

These characters will tug at your heartstrings. You will laugh, love, and cry. I loved following these characters as they fought battles on and off the football field. They both learn so many lessons, and grow so much.

My Thoughts and Review:

In Washed Up Kandi Steiner gives us a heroine for the average middle age woman. Amanda was a character I could see so much of myself in. She is in her 40's (I'm not there quite yet, but very soon). She is a mom, and a grandma. She is "thick". She is trying to get her life back on track.

Then we have Greg. The hunky doctor, who is her son's best friend from high school. He is a book boyfriend who will steal your heart. He is the kind of guy I think every woman deserves in her life.

This book, in typical Kandi Steiner fashion, will give you all the feels. I laughed, I almost cried, I swooned, and I wanted to punch a couple characters through out the story. Overall, this is a great read.

My Thoughts and Review:

This is one of those books that will leave you with a hangover. While I could have, and would have loved to have devoured it in a day, I am also glad I read it at a slow leisurely pace, allowing myself time to fully digest all of the emotions this book will evoke.

I truly loved the nostalgic feeling this book gave me. I may have been just getting ready to start high school in the summer of 1996, and have never been to Italy, but there were still so many wonderful memories of that time brought back to me with this book. Worrying about long distance calls, disposable cameras, the bombing of the Olympics in Atlanta (ok, that one might not have been a wonderful memory but it helps make my point).

These characters, oh these characters...... Harley with her drive to be perfect, Liam with his no commitment attitude. Complete opposites, yet finding each other at a particular place in time and needing something from the other.

This book is full of so many emotions. So much angst. Harley with her minor physical disability. Liam feeling lost and afraid of loving. This book in my new favorite from Kandi Steiner.
