E-book review:
I didn't care much for Amelie in Wicked Dreams. In fact I quite hated her, and when I found out she was going to have an arranged marriage I thought she might just be getting what she deserved. Well, the joke was on me.

Amelie redeemed herself in Ruthless Saint. She turns out to be quite an inspiring character. A strong woman, with a strong sense of morals (not really the word I'm looking for here, but the only one I can think of). She endures so much and comes out stronger for it in this book.

Luca was never meant to have her. Although, I got the feeling he always desired her. He makes some pretty big mistakes. I think they were more because he wasn't sure how to deal with the situations their families put them in, than really wanting to break Amelie.

This is not a story about an arranged marriage. This is a story about finding your person. With appearances from some old favorites, and some incredible new characters, S. Massery will take you on an intense ride.

Audiobook review:

While I will be the first to admit I have had an intense dislike for Amelie from when we first met her in S. Massery's Wicked Dreams. To be honest I kind of felt having an arranged marriage was a good punishment for her behavior in earlier books. I was not expecting to have my opinion of her rocked so much.

This was unlike any other arranged marriage book I have read before. There is so much I loved about this book, and I want to tell you all of it. But, I refuse to give anything away. I fell in love with Amelie. She isn't the b***h I thought she was. She is strong, cunning, and a fighter. It is now easy to see how she and Lux are sisters. Luca, oh my, Luca..... he is just wow.

With this being the first book in a new series, S Massery gives us some old characters we already know, or have met briefly before. She also introduces us to a whole new cast of interesting characters. There were so many characters I found myself curious about and wondering if we might ever get their story.

The narration of this book was incredible. Both of the narrators did an incredible job of bringing these characters to life.
