You have to love a good romantic comedy between two people who have attitudes bigger than they are. Both Alexis and Kent are strong willed, determined, know what they want people. Kent knows he wants her the moment he sees her. Alexis is attracted to him, but doesn't want anything to do with a man like him. What starts as a quick dirty one night stand, evolves into so much more. I absolutely loved Kent's determination to get Alexis back. The way he involved his entire family in the plot to win her heart was amazing.
I loved A Novel Approach, and this book was just as good, with plenty of differences. Heather Guimond is quickly headed to the list of my favorite authors. Her characters are always well developed. While there were times I could predict some part of the overall plot, it was never so completely obvious that I wanted to quit reading.
This book was so amazing. I didn't want to put it down. With scenes that made me laugh out loud, made me teary eyed with emotion, and the incredibly hot and steamy sex scenes. This book had it all.
