My Thoughts and Review:

This was my first venture into K. Bromberg's Everyday Hero's world. It was also my first book by Misty Walker. I loved it all. The characters are amazing. There are so many of the supporting characters from this book who's stories I can't wait to read now. I loved that both Topher and Liv had similar backgrounds. Topher is a super protective alpha male who will melt your panties. Liv is an equally strong female who has fought hard to reach where she is at in her life. These characters are just amazing.

My Thoughts and Review:

"He does not get to define you."- Makoa, The Right Player by Kandi Steiner

I think almost every woman out there has had that one relationship the went wrong in a bad way. The one where he broke her or said something that made her think poorly of herself. That relationship that when it ended made her want to give up on love, build up her walls, and protect herself for life. Belle Monroe had that in her college boyfriend. She thought they would end up married, then he told her she was a fun time, but not the girl you take home. So she spent her life being that fun time girl. Her 3 date rule was the opposite of most. Until she meets Makoa.

Makoa spent his younger years being placed firmly in the friend zone by every girl he liked. So he quit trying, and devoted himself to his love of football earning himself a place in the NFL. Then it went from friend zone to being used for his money or connections. All he really wanted was someone to love. He was a big teddy bear looking for a woman who wouldn't friend zone him and didn't want him for his money or fame.

The attitudes these two have towards dating is polar opposite. Which makes for some hilarious dates, and some major miscommunications. This book will have you laughing. It will have you crying, and it is has some smokin' hot scenes. Do we really expect anything less from Kandi Steiner? I loved the return of Gemma and Zach from The Wrong Game. There are just so many great scenes and supporting characters in this book.

My Thoughts and Review:

If you are a fan of brother's best friend, or enemies to lovers, this is the book for you. Benji hates Rae when he first meets her. Rae is not very impressed with Benji either. However, they both feel an almost irresistible pull towards one another. Life keeps throwing them in each other's paths, and they learn more about each other.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are not what they appear, and so well written. I truly loved the born to money, but hate what money makes people attitude that several of the characters share. The need to work for their living, instead of expecting special treatment because they are rich. That aspect of the story made this book so much more enjoyable. It also really made it stand out compared to other books with rich characters.
