My Thoughts and Review:

Overall this is a good read and well written. The characters were great. I loved Axel, he is an easy hero to enjoy. Rush is an excellent secondary character, and quite frankly made the story. Jasper is a villain designed to be hated. Jaslyn, oh Jaslyn, I had some issues with Jaslyn. I wanted to love her, but at the same time I just couldn't because she wouldn't stand up for her self.

This book was not at all what I was expecting as a part of the Sinister Fairy Tales Collection. I didn't really feel like it was a retelling of Aladdin at all. That being said, I still look forward to the second book in the duet.
